3.Have you ever heard the National Day Anthem?
Have you ever heard of the "Double Tenth Day Commemorative Song"? Also known as the National Day Memorial Song, the lyrics are: "October 10th is so happy, at night we come with lanterns, marching in a procession, welcome everywhere, red lights, green lights, all kinds of lights, coming and going, shining, shining, shining, everyone cheers for the National Day."
This song may be unfamiliar to younger friends, but it is actually a classic children's song celebrating National Day, and one of the lyrics mentions "carrying lanterns." In fact, there used to be a custom of holding a night lantern parade on National Day. However, the last large-scale public parade was held in 1975, with Chaozhou Junior High School representing the parade. Therefore, the younger generation may not be so familiar with the night lantern parade and the National Day anthem.
