Since its founding, the German family Dr.Hauschka has taken nature as its main goal. In our formulations, we use about 500 natural raw materials - such as medicinal plants, vegetable oils and waxes, and natural essential oils.

Natural cosmetics are in fashion. But how much of it is natural? The NATRUE label provides information. The international quality mark is dedicated to protecting and promoting natural and organic cosmetics worldwide. Before a product receives the NATRUE label, ingredients and formulations are checked by independent testing institutes. So greenwashing has no chance. No problem for us: Each of our products is 100% natural cosmetics.

More than just natural cosmetics: organic cosmetics.
We want only the best in natural cosmetics: top-notch ingredients, preferably organic. If it is not possible to purchase organic quality ingredients, we sometimes initiate a cultivation program. For example, we’ve done this with rose essential oil, mango butter, castor oil, and shea butter. Overall, more than 90% of our plant ingredients today come from organic farming. We hope to increase this further and move more and more towards Demeter cultivation. To this end, we acquire additional raw material partners for biodynamic cultivation around the world and support implementation with advice and support.
