Hausmann Iron Syrup
Syrup for the treatment of iron deficiency.

For children weighing over 10 kg, adolescents, and adults.

Application
Recommended dosage:
Adults take 10-20 ml (100-200 mg iron) daily.

For children and adolescents under 18 years of age:
Dosage information for children and adolescents is based on a dosage of 3 mg iron per kg body weight per day.

Children weighing 10-14 kg take 2.5-5 ml (25-50 mg iron) daily.

Children weighing 15-19 kg take 5-7.5 ml (50-75 mg iron) daily.

Children weighing 20-29 kg take 7.5-10 ml (75-100 mg iron) daily.

Children and adolescents (30-50 kg) take 10-15 ml (100-150 mg iron) daily.

Children and adolescents (>50 kg) take 15-20 ml (150-200 mg iron) daily.

The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the iron deficiency and should be discussed with a doctor.

Notes
Contains sorbitol, sucrose, and parabens.

Ingredients: Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph. Eur.) and Propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph. Eur.)

Other ingredients include: cream flavor (contains propylene glycol and vanillin), methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph. Eur.), propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (Ph. Eur.), sorbitol solution (70%) (non-crystallizing, Ph. Eur.), sucrose, purified water, sodium hydroxide
