Allergy symptoms in children

Allegra® for Kids Allergy Tablets contains the active ingredient bilastine, an antihistamine. Allegra® Allergy for Kids is used to relieve symptoms of hay fever (sneezing, itching, runny nose, stuffy nose, red and watery eyes) and other forms of allergic rhinitis. They can also be used to treat itchy rashes (hives or urticaria).

Suitable for children aged 6 to 11 years weighing at least 20 kg.

application

The recommended dose for children aged 6 to 11 years who weigh at least 20 kg is 1 orodispersible tablet (10 mg bilastine) once daily.

The orodispersible tablets are intended for oral administration. Place the orodispersible tablet in your child's mouth. It dissolves quickly in saliva and can then be swallowed easily.

Alternatively, you can dissolve the orodispersible tablet in a teaspoon of water before giving it to your child. Care must be taken to ensure that there is no sediment on the spoon. Dilute with water only. Do not use grapefruit or other fruit juices for dissolution.

Give your child the orodispersible tablet one hour before or two hours after eating or drinking juice.

Due to insufficient data, do not give this product to children under 6 years of age or weighing less than 20 kg.

Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging or outer packaging. The expiry date is the last day of the specified month.
