Valeriana Hevert Beruhigungsdragees is an herbal product made from valerian root (Valeriana officinalis), lemon balm leaf (Melissa officinalis), and passionflower weed (Passiflora incarnata).

Valerian can shorten the time it takes to fall asleep and improve the depth of sleep, while the essential oils of lemon balm and passionflower soothe the nervous system. Therefore, these medicinal plants are often used to treat restlessness and nervous insomnia.

Use Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children over 12 years should take 2 coated tablets (equivalent to 1.13 g valerian root, 1.13 g lemon balm leaf, and 0.96 g passionflower herb) up to 3 times daily for the treatment of restlessness.

For the treatment of sleep disturbances caused by stress, take two caplets (equivalent to 1.13g valerian root, 1.13g lemon balm leaf and 0.96g passionflower) half an hour to one hour before bedtime for adults and children over 12 years of age. If needed, take two additional caplets earlier in the evening.

Do not take while lying down.

Please take the whole tablet with appropriate amount of warm water.

NOTES: If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or worsen, a doctor must be consulted.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton or packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
