How does a cold occur?

The mucous membranes of the nose, throat, and bronchi primarily serve to defend against inhaled foreign bodies and pathogens. Sneezing and coughing help the body expel viruses and bacteria. Substances produced by the nasal mucous membranes also help ward off invaders. Prolonged exposure to cold and wet conditions, as well as fatigue or excessive stress, make it easier for viruses or bacteria to settle on the respiratory mucous membranes. Viruses often trigger an inflammatory reaction (infection) of the nasal mucous membranes. Viruses can also "shift," i.e., spread to the lower respiratory tract. A common cold can also develop into sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) due to swollen mucous membranes and reduced mucus drainage. Symptoms include a blocked nose, runny nose, headache, difficulty swallowing, or hearing loss. Often, other symptoms such as fever, body aches, or conjunctivitis also occur. Prompt treatment prevents the infection from spreading to the sinuses or lungs. In addition, it is crucial to ensure that acute inflammation completely subsides to prevent chronic symptoms.

Application
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older:
In acute conditions, take 1 tablet up to 6 times a day, allowing it to dissolve in the mouth. In chronic conditions, take 1 tablet 1 to 3 times a day, allowing it to dissolve in the mouth. The tablets can also be swallowed whole or dissolved in water.

Children aged 6 to under 12 years:
This age group should not exceed two-thirds of the adult dose per day. Dissolve 1 tablet in 6 teaspoons of water, take 4 teaspoons of this solution per dose. In acute cases, this can be repeated up to 6 times a day. In chronic cases, take 1 to 3 times a day.

Children aged 6 years and under:
This age group should not exceed half of the adult dose per day. Dissolve 1 tablet in 6 teaspoons of water, take 3 teaspoons of this solution per dose. In acute cases, this can be repeated up to 6 times a day. In chronic cases, take 1 to 3 times a day.

Infants under one year of age:
Infants in this age group should not exceed one-third of the adult dose per day, and a doctor should be consulted before use. Dissolve one tablet in six teaspoons of water, and take two teaspoons of this solution per dose. In acute cases, this can be repeated up to six times a day. In chronic cases, take one to three times a day. Discard any remaining solution.

Self-medication/self-treatment for longer than one week must be discussed with a doctor or an experienced homeopathically-oriented naturopath in advance. Once symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced. If symptoms persist for more than 14 days, consult a doctor. Homeopathic medicines should not be used for long periods without medical advice. Sinusitis Hevert® should not be used for longer than 8 weeks without medical advice.

A doctor should be consulted if facial swelling, fever, severe headaches, and persistent, unclear, or new symptoms occur.

Sinusitis Hevert® must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or excipients, or to members of the daisy family.

Due to some underlying reasons, this medicine should not be taken by patients with progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia or leukemia-like diseases, inflammatory connective tissue diseases (collagenoses), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection, or other chronic viral diseases.

Do not use if you have a thyroid condition without consulting your doctor.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the carton or outer packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of the indicated month.
