The Xantus “KO Drops Protection Bracelet” / DrinkCheck Wristband is a wristband-style beverage detection tool that helps users detect whether alcohol or beverages are adulterated with GHB (a central nervous system depressant, commonly known as KO Drop or Liquid Ecstasy).

Advantages 1. Easy to carry/wearable: Unlike carrying test reagents or instruments, it is just a wristband, which is easier to carry with you.
2. Rapid testing: It can tell whether GHB is present in just a few seconds, which is thought to reduce risks in social situations.
3. Awareness and self-protection: Users can have an extra layer of safety awareness when drinking/partying outside

Limitations and Notes 1. Only detects GHB: These wristbands typically detect GHB only. If other drugs or compounds (such as certain psychedelics or other sedatives) are adulterated, they may not be detected.
2. Limited number of tests: Each wristband has a fixed number of test points. Once all the test points are used up or damaged, they cannot be used again (unless there is a spare).
3. Possible false color change: If the tester is wet or contaminated by other liquids, it may produce a false positive. When using, make sure the test point is clean and not accidentally wet.
4. Color change judgment is sometimes subjective: yellow-green vs. light green vs. abnormal blue may be difficult to distinguish due to differences in lighting/liquid color/test point status.

How to use 1. After getting the drink, if you feel doubtful or want to be extra safe - take out the bracelet and find the test point.
2. Add two to four drops of the drink (usually from your beverage) to the test area. You can also use a straw to dip the drink and drop it onto the test strip.
3. Gently rub/allow the liquid to contact the test point.
4. Wait approximately 10 seconds (some versions may take up to 2 minutes, depending on manufacturer specifications).
5. Observe the color change: If it turns blue → GHB may be present; if it remains the original color/yellow-green → GHB is not detected (or the concentration is below the detection limit).
6. If the test is positive (blue), do not consume the beverage and seek help as soon as possible or report it to a trusted friend/safe person.

The safest self-protection measures are: do not leave your own drinks, walk with trusted friends, etc. This product is an auxiliary protection tool, not a universal shield.
