Vitamin B1 , vitamin B2 and pantothenic acid contribute to normal energy metabolism.
Vitamin B6 is required for the formation of the amino acid cysteine. The trace element molybdenum helps the metabolism of sulfur-containing amino acids.
L-cysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid. It is found specifically in the fibrous protein (keratin) of human hair and nails.
L-Methionine is also a sulfur-containing amino acid. Since the human body cannot produce this amino acid itself, it must be provided through food. In turn, methionine is used in the body to form cysteine, among other things.
