Adults and adolescents 12 years and older:

Acute dosage: Allow 1 tablet to dissolve in the mouth every half hour to hour, not exceeding 6 times daily.
For prolonged conditions, allow 1 tablet to dissolve in the mouth 1 to 3 times daily.
Children 6 to under 12 years old:

Acute dosage: 2/3 of the adult dose every half hour to hour, up to 6 times daily.
For prolonged cases, 2/3 of the adult dose, taken 1 to 3 times daily.
Dissolve 1 tablet in 6 teaspoons of water. Give the child 4 teaspoons of the solution and discard the rest.
