HYLO COMOD® is an eye drop from URSAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH. HYLO COMOD® provides long-lasting, effective relief for dry eyes. The eye drops' moistening effect and exceptionally good tolerability have been proven millions of times: HYLO COMOD® is the most commonly used ocular wetting agent in Germany. In cases of moderate to moderately severe dry eye symptoms, the eye drops improve the moisturizing of the sensitive surface of the eye. They replenish the natural tear film, thus protecting the eye from the damage caused by prolonged dryness. Typical symptoms such as redness, burning, itching, and foreign body sensation quickly disappear. Because of its long-lasting moisture supply and the absence of preservatives or phosphates, this medical product is also suitable for use before and after eye surgery when tear supply is insufficient.

The COMOD® system is practical and economical.

To protect the eyes, eye drops must be well-tolerated and free of pathogens. Therefore, traditional eye drops often use preservatives, which can lead to intolerance and allergies. The COMOD® system offers moisturizing eye drops from the HYLO® product line. The drops are sterile and sealed, eliminating the need for preservatives. The system also scores for its precise dosing: each pump dispenses only one drop. An opened bottle has a shelf life of six months, enough for at least 300 drops.

Instructions for use:
Step 1: Remove the protective cover before use.

Step 2: Hold the bottle with the dropper tip pointing downward. Place your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and your fingers on the bottom of the bottle.

Step 3: Use your other hand to gently support the hand holding the bottle.

Step 4: Tilt your head back slightly and use your other hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid. Apply firm pressure to the bottom of the bottle to release the drop of liquid into the conjunctival sac. Thanks to the special COMOD® pump system, precise delivery of one drop is achieved. Slowly close your eye to distribute the liquid over the surface of the eye. Immediately after use, cover the dropper tip with the cap.
