Health Philosophy:

The core tenets of our health philosophy are as follows:
Maintain a diet as natural as possible.
Aside from industrial trans fats, there are no good fats or bad fats, only unfavorable ratios.
Sugar, white flour, and excessive omega-6 fatty acids are major causes of many health problems.
Daily intake of natural fish oil or plant-based algal oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids is beneficial for our health, using heavy metal-certified fish oil sources. Our fundamental goal is for consumers to have sufficient omega-3 levels without needing our oils. This also means that individuals with already high omega-3 levels do not need additional omega-3 supplementation, so we do not recommend taking our NORSAN oils and capsules. Moderation is key. It is currently known that excessive omega-3 intake offers no additional benefits.

The Role of Omega-3 Fatty Acids
There have always been various viewpoints regarding the actual role of omega-3 fatty acids. For example, some groups within expert circles believe that regular intake of omega-3 fatty acids is not beneficial and therefore not essential for health. On the other hand, many experts have clearly demonstrated the positive health effects of omega-3 fatty acids on various diseases and health issues.

NORSAN, in collaboration with Europe's leading fatty acid testing laboratory, Omegametrix® GmbH in Munich, has completed over 30,000 individual fatty acid analyses. The results are very clear: for adults with an omega-3 fatty acid deficiency, a daily intake of 2,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) is sufficient to achieve an effective supplementary level.
